The Diocese of Bongaigaon (Latin: Dioecesis Bongaigaonensis ) is a located in India Roman Catholic diocese based in Bongaigaon.

History

The Diocese of Bongaigaon was on 10 May 2000 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Ultra flumen built out of territory of the Archdiocese of Guwahati and this is a suffragan. First bishop was Thomas Pulloppillil.

Territory

The Diocese of Bongaigaon comprises the districts of Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Dhubri, Kokrajhar and Nalbari in the state of Assam.
