The Diocese of Butuan (Latin: Dioecesis Butuanensis ) is a location in the Philippines Roman Catholic diocese based in Butuan City.

History

The Diocese of Butuan was posted on March 20, 1967 by Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution officio Same date of cession of territory of the Diocese of Surigao and the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro is a suffragan.

It includes the provinces of Agusan del Norte and Agusan del Sur.
