Roman Catholic Diocese of David

The diocese of David (Latin: Dioecesis Davidensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in David, Panama. It includes the province of Chiriquí.

Pope Pius XII. founded with the Bull Amantissimus Deus on March 6, 1955, the diocese of David cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Panama and imputed it this suffragan. On October 17, 1962, came from parts of its territory to the newly established Territorialprälatur Bocas del Toro.
