The diocese Duitama - Sogamoso (Latin: Dioecesis Duitamensis - Sogamosensis, Spanish: diócesis de Duitama - Sogamoso ) is a location in Columbia Roman Catholic diocese based in Duitama.
History
The diocese Duitama - Sogamoso was on March 7, 1955 by Pope Pius XII. built out of territory of the Diocese of Tunja as Duitama diocese and the Archdiocese of Bogotá, is a suffragan. The diocese Duitama was placed under the Archbishopric of Tunja suffragan on June 20, 1964. On 4 June 1994, the diocese was renamed the Diocese Duitama Duitama - Sogamoso.
