Roman Catholic Diocese of Fidenza

The Diocese of Fidenza (Latin: Dioecesis Fidentinus, Italian: Diocese of Fidenza ) is a located in Italy Roman Catholic diocese based in Fidenza.

History

The Diocese of Fidenza was established on February 12, 1601 by Pope Clement VIII with the Apostolic Constitution Super universas as diocese Borgo San Donnino and the Holy See under the direct authority. On August 22, 1855, the Diocese of Borgo San Donnino with the Apostolic Constitution Vel was the Archdiocese of Modena - Nonantola assumed from antiquis suffragan. The Diocese of Borgo San Donnino was renamed on September 22, 1927 in Diocese of Fidenza.
