Roman Catholic Diocese of Gbarnga

The Diocese of Gbarnga (Latin: Dioecesis Gbarnganus ) is a location in Liberia Roman Catholic diocese based in Gbarnga. It includes the counties of Bong, Lofa and Nimba.

History

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution En Monroviensi on 17 November 1986 of territory of the Archdiocese of Monrovia, where it was assumed as a suffragan.
