Roman Catholic Diocese of Goaso

The diocese Goaso (Latin: Dioecesis Goasonensis ) is a location in Ghana Roman Catholic diocese based in Goaso.

History

The diocese was erected Goaso on 24 October 1997 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Ad aptius of annexations of the Diocese of Sunyani and the Archdiocese of Cape Coast is a suffragan. First bishop was Peter Kwaku Atuahene.

The diocese Goaso was placed under the Archdiocese of Kumasi suffragan on 17 January 2002.
