The diocese Guanhães (Latin: Dioecesis Guanhanensis ) is a location in Brazil Roman Catholic diocese based in Guanhães in the state of Minas Gerais.

History

The diocese Guanhães was on 24 May 1985 quidem by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Recte built out of territory of the Archdiocese of Diamantina and the bishoprics of Governador Valadares and Itabira - Fabriciano. It was the Archdiocese of Diamantina is a suffragan.
