The Diocese of Hamilton (Latin: Dioecesis Hamiltonensis ) is a location in Canada Roman Catholic diocese based in Hamilton.

History

The Diocese of Hamilton was born on February 29, 1856 by Pope Pius IX. built out of territory of the Diocese of Toronto. The Diocese of Hamilton was on November 22, 1958 from parts of its territory to the founding of the Diocese of Saint Catharines.

The Diocese of Hamilton is the Archdiocese of Toronto is a suffragan.
