David Douglas Crosby

David Douglas Crosby, OMI ( born June 28, 1949 in Marathon ) is Bishop of Hamilton.

Life

David Douglas Crosby joined the Congregation of the Oblates ( OMI ) in, put the profession on September 16, 1973, received on 27 September 1975, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 24 October 1997 as Bishop of Labrador City - Schefferville. He received his episcopal consecration of the Archbishop of Keewatin -Le Pas, Peter Alfred Sutton, OMI, on 2 January of the next year; Co-consecrators were Joseph Paul Pierre Morissette, Bishop of Baie- Comeau, and Raymond John Lahey, Bishop of St. George's.

On 6 August 2003 he was appointed Bishop of St. George's. On 24 September 2010 he was appointed Bishop of Hamilton and introduced into the office on 8 November of that year.
