Roman Catholic Diocese of Huejutla

The diocese Huejutla (Latin: Dioecesis Hueiutlensis, Spanish: diócesis de Huejutla ) is a location in Mexico Roman Catholic diocese based in Huejutla.

History

The diocese Huejutla was on November 24, 1922 by Pope Pius XI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Inter negotia out of territory of the diocese and the Archdiocese of Puebla Tulancingo de los Ángeles is a suffragan. On November 27, 1960, the diocese was Huejutla from parts of its territory to the foundation of built by the Apostolic Constitution Cum rectus rerum Diocese of Ciudad Valles. Another area assignment was on 9 June 1962 on the establishment of the built with the Apostolic Constitution Non latet Diocese of Tuxpan.

On 25 November 2006, the diocese was Huejutla by Pope Benedict XVI. the Archdiocese Tulancingo assumed with the Apostolic Constitution Mexicani populi suffragan.
