Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tulancingo

The Archdiocese Tulancingo (Latin: Archidioecesis Tulancingensis, Spanish: Arquidiócesis de Tulancingo ) is a location in Mexico Roman Catholic archdiocese headquartered in Tulancingo.

History

The diocese Tulancingo was on January 26, 1863 by Pope Pius IX. built out of territory of the Archdiocese of Mexico City and this is a suffragan. On November 24, 1922, the diocese Tulancingo were parts of its territory from the foundation of the built with the Apostolic Constitution Inter negotia diocese Huejutla. For more territorial concessions were made February 27, 1961 to the founding of the Apostolic Constitution postulant quandoque erected Diocese of Tula and on 9 June 1962 on the establishment of the built with the Apostolic Constitution Non latet Diocese of Tuxpan.

On 25 November 2006, the diocese was Tulancingo by Pope Benedict XVI. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Mexicani populi to the archbishopric.
