Roman Catholic Diocese of Ciudad Valles

The Diocese of Ciudad Valles (Latin: Dioecesis Vallipolitanus, Spanish: diócesis de Ciudad Valles ) is a location in Mexico Roman Catholic diocese based in Ciudad Valles.

History

The Diocese of Ciudad Valles was posted on November 27, 1960 by Pope John XXIII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Cum rectus rerum of annexations of the dioceses Huejutla and San Luis Potosí and the Archdiocese of Monterrey is a suffragan. On 28 May 1997, the diocese gave parts of its territory to the founding of the Apostolic Constitution Apostolicum officium erected diocese Matehuala.

The Diocese of Ciudad Valles was born on 25 November 2006, Pope Benedict XVI. the Archdiocese of San Luis Potosí assumed with the Apostolic Constitution Mexicani populi suffragan.
