Roman Catholic Diocese of Hyderabad in Pakistan

The Diocese of Hyderabad in Pakistan (Latin: Dioecesis Hyderabadensis in Pakistan ) is a location in Pakistan Roman Catholic diocese based in Hyderabad in Sindh province.

History

The Diocese of Hyderabad in Pakistan in 1958 by Pope Pius XII. founded with the Bull EIUS in Terris from the Archdiocese of Karachi out. First bishop was the Dutch Franciscan James Cornelius van Miltenburg OFM. 2001 were assigned with the Bull Ad Perpetuam rei memoriam areas establishing the Apostolic Prefecture of Quetta.

The diocese area includes the district of Hyderabad districts of Hyderabad, Badin, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar and Thatta; in the district of Larkana city, the diocese comprises the districts of Jacobabad and Shikarpur and in the district of the city of Sukkur, the diocese comprises the districts of Sukkur, Khairpur and Nawabshah.

The diocese has the St. Bonaventure 's High School and St Mary's Convent High School founded.
