Roman Catholic Diocese of Inongo

The diocese Inongo (Latin: Dioecesis Inongoensis ) is a location in the Democratic Republic of the Congo Roman Catholic diocese based in Inongo.

History

The diocese Inongo was on June 29, 1953 by Pope Pius XII. from the Apostolic Vicariate of Léopoldville of territory established as Apostolic Vicariate Inongo. On November 10, 1959, the Apostolic Vicariate Inongo was by Pope John XXIII. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Cum parvulum to the diocese.

The diocese is the Archdiocese of Kinshasa Inongo a suffragan.
