Roman Catholic Diocese of Konongo–Mampong

The diocese Konongo - Mampong (Latin: Dioecesis Konongensis - Mamponganus ) is a location in Ghana Roman Catholic diocese based in Mampong.

History

Pope John Paul II founded on March 3, 1995 annexations of the Kumasi and Sunyani diocese and it was the Archdiocese of Cape Coast assumed as suffragan. The diocese Konongo - Mampong was placed under the Archdiocese of Kumasi suffragan on 17 January 2002.

On 28 December 2007, it lost part of its territory sold in favor of the establishment of the Diocese of Techiman. Since the establishment of the local Ordinary Joseph Osei Bonsu -.
