Roman Catholic Diocese of Laoag

The Diocese of Laoag (Latin: Dioecesis Laoagensis ) is a location in the Philippines Roman Catholic diocese based in Laoag. It includes the province of Ilocos Norte.

History

Pope John XXIII. founded it with the Apostolic Constitution novae Segobiae on June 5, 1961 from the Archdiocese of Nueva Segovia cessions of territory, which it has been assumed as a suffragan.
