Roman Catholic Diocese of Lugazi

The diocese Lugazi (Latin: Dioecesis Lugasiensis ) is a location in Uganda Roman Catholic diocese based in Lugazi. It includes the districts of Kayunga and Mukono.

History

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Quando ad aeternam on 30 November 1996 of territory of the Archdiocese of Kampala, where it was assumed as a suffragan. Since the establishment of the local Ordinary Matthias Ssekamaanya.
