Roman Catholic Diocese of Masbate
The Diocese of Masbate (Latin: Dioecesis Masbatensis ) is a location in the Philippines Roman Catholic diocese based in Masbate City. It includes the province of Masbate.
History
Pope Paul VI. founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Sorsogonensis dioecesis curatio on March 23, 1968 from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Sorsogon and it became the Archdiocese of Caceres assumed as suffragan.
