Roman Catholic Diocese of Masvingo

The Diocese of Masvingo (Latin: Dioecesis Masvingensis ) is a location in Zimbabwe Roman Catholic diocese based in Masvingo.

History

The Diocese of Masvingo was established on 9 February 1999 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Ad aptius out of territory of the Diocese of Gweru and Bulawayo to the archbishopric a suffragan. First bishop was Michael Dixon Bhasera.
