Roman Catholic Diocese of Natchitoches

Natchitoches is a Roman Catholic titular and called in Latin Natchitochensis.

The diocese located in the United States, was established from areas of the diocese of New Orleans on July 29, 1853. It belonged to the Ecclesiastical Province of New Orleans and was 11,205 Square Miles large. On 6 August 1910, was replaced by the Diocese of Alexandria. Recorded since 1995 in the list of Titularbistümer, it was occupied for the first time as such in 1999.
