Roman Catholic Diocese of Nottingham

The Diocese of Nottingham (Latin: Dioecesis Nottinghamensis ) is a facility located in the United Kingdom, Roman Catholic diocese based in Nottingham.

History

The Diocese of Nottingham was born on September 29, 1850 by Pope Pius IX. built out of territory of the Apostolic Vicariate of Central District and the Archdiocese of Westminster is a suffragan - with the Apostolic Constitution Universalis Ecclesiae - restoration of the Catholic hierarchy in England. On 30 May 1980, the Diocese of Nottingham were parts of his territory from the foundation of the diocese Hallam.
