The Diocese of Nova Friburgo (Latin: Dioecesis Neo - friburgensis ) is a located in Brazil Roman Catholic diocese based in Nova Friburgo in Rio de Janeiro.

History

The Diocese of Nova Friburgo was March 26, 1960 by Pope John XXIII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Quandoquidem verbis from annexations of Barra do Pirai and Petrópolis dioceses and the Archdiocese of Niterói a suffragan.
