Roman Catholic Diocese of Nyahururu

The Diocese of Nyahururu (Latin: Dioecesis Nyahururensis ) is located in Kenya Diocese of the Roman Catholic church located in Nyahururu. It comprises the district Nyandarua in Central Province and the western part of the district of Laikipia in Rift Valley Province.

History

Pope John Paul II founded the bishopric with the Apostolic Constitution nuper est petitum on 5 December 2002 cession of territory of the Archdiocese of Nyeri, which it was assumed as a suffragan.
