Roman Catholic Diocese of Ouesso
The diocese Ouesso (Latin: Dioecesis Uessitanus ) is a location in the Republic of the Congo Roman Catholic diocese based in Ouesso.
History
The diocese was erected Ouesso on June 6, 1983 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Ad expeditiorem out of territory of the diocese and the Archdiocese of Brazzaville Owando a suffragan. The diocese Ouesso announced on October 30, 2000 from parts of its territory establishing the Apostolic Prefecture Likouala.
