Roman Catholic Diocese of Palmira

The Diocese of Palmira (Latin: Dioecesis Palmiranus, Spanish: diócesis de Palmira ) is a location in Columbia Roman Catholic diocese based in Palmira.

History

The Diocese of Palmira was posted on December 17, 1952 by Pope Pius XII. built out of territory of the Archdiocese of Popayán and the Diocese of Cali. On June 29, 1966, the Diocese of Palmira were from parts of its territory to the founding of the Diocese of Buga. The Diocese of Palmira is the Archdiocese of Cali is a suffragan.
