Roman Catholic Diocese of Papantla

The Diocese of Papantla (Latin: Dioecesis Papantlensis, Spanish: diócesis de Papantla ) is a location in Mexico Roman Catholic diocese based in Papantla.

History

The Diocese of Papantla was posted on November 24, 1922 by Pope Pius XI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Orbis Catholici of annexations of the dioceses of Ciudad Victoria Tamaulipas and Veracruz- Jalapa. On 9 June 1962, the Diocese of Papantla were parts of its territory from the foundation of the built with the Apostolic Constitution Non latet Diocese of Tuxpan.
