Roman Catholic Diocese of Pinar del Río

The Diocese of Pinar del Río (Latin: Dioecesis Pinetensis ad Flumen ) is a community on Cuba Roman Catholic diocese based in Pinar del Río.

History

The Diocese of Pinar del Río was born on February 20, 1903 by Pope Leo XIII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Actae Preclara of cessions of territory of the Diocese of San Cristobal de la Habana and the Archbishopric of Santiago de Cuba, is a suffragan. On January 6, 1925, the Diocese of Pinar del Río was placed under the Archdiocese of San Cristobal de la Habana, suffragan.
