Roman Catholic Diocese of Saltillo

The Diocese of Saltillo (Latin: Dioecesis Saltillensis, Spanish: diócesis de Saltillo ) is a location in Mexico Roman Catholic diocese based in Saltillo.

History

The Diocese of Saltillo was posted on June 23, 1891 by Pope Leo XIII. built out of territory of the Diocese of Linares o Nueva Leon. On 19 June 1957, the Diocese of Saltillo were parts of its territory from the foundation of the built with the Apostolic Constitution Qui Hanc Diocese of Torreón. A further transfer of territory took place on 8 January 2003 on the establishment of the built with the Apostolic Constitution Sollicitus de spirituali diocese Piedras Negras.

The Diocese of Saltillo is the Archdiocese of Monterrey is a suffragan.
