Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan is a Roman Catholic titular.

On July 29, 1853 Vicariate Apostolic of Upper Michigan was erected from the territory of the Archdiocese of Detroit in the U.S., which was raised on 9 January 1857, diocese, and thus received the name of Sault Sainte Marie. It was on October 23, 1865 amended in Sault Sainte Marie- Marquette on January 3, 1937 Diocese of Marquette.
