Roman Catholic Diocese of Shaozhou

The Diocese of Shaoguan (Latin: Dioecesis Sciaoceuvensis ) is a location in the People's Republic of China Roman Catholic diocese based in Shaoguan.

History

The Diocese of Shaoguan was on April 9, 1920, Pope Benedict XV. with the Apostolic Constitution Cum opitulante built out of territory of the Apostolic Vicariate of Canton as Apostolic Vicariate of Shaoguan.

The Apostolic Vicariate of Shaoguan was posted on April 11, 1946 by Pope Pius XII. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos to the diocese and the Archdiocese of Canton is a suffragan.
