The Diocese of Locri - Gerace (Latin: Dioecesis Locrensis - Hieracensis, Italian: Diocese of Locri - Gerace ) is a located in Italy Roman Catholic diocese based in Locri.

History

The Diocese of Locri - Gerace was built in the 5th century as a diocese of Gerace. It was the archbishopric of Reggio Calabria is a suffragan.

On April 8, 1920 the diocese of Gerace the Territorial Abbey of Santa Maria di Polsi was affiliated. The diocese of Gerace was renamed on 22 February 1954 in the diocese of Gerace - Locri. The Diocese of Locri Gerace was renamed on 30 September 1986 by the Congregation for Bishops with the decree Instantibus votis in Diocese of Locri - Gerace.
