Roman Catholic Diocese of San Marco Argentano-Scalea
The Diocese of San Marco Argentano - Scalea (Latin: Sancti Marci Dioecesis Argentanensis - Scaleensis, Italian: Diocese of San Marco Argentano - Scalea ) is a located in Italy Roman Catholic diocese based in San Marco Argentano.
History
The Diocese of San Marco Argentano - Scalea was built in 1179 by Pope Gregory VII as a diocese San Marco Argentano. On June 27, 1818 the Diocese of San Marco Argentano by Pope Pius VII, with the Apostolic Constitution En utiliori was incorporated into the diocese of Bisignano.
