Roman Catholic Diocese of Toledo, Brazil

The Diocese of Toledo (Latin: Dioecesis Toletanus in Brasilia ) is a located in Brazil Roman Catholic diocese based in Toledo in the state of Paraná. It covers the western part of the state.

History

Pope Pius XII. founded it on 20 June 1959 with the Apostolic Constitution Cum venerabili out of territory of the Diocese of Foz do Iguaçu and the Archdiocese of Curitiba was assumed as a suffragan

Parts of its territory it lost in favor of the establishment of the following dioceses:

On October 16, 1979, was part of the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Cascavel.
