Roman Catholic Diocese of Vacaria

The diocese Vacaria (Latin Dioecesis Vaccariensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in the Brazilian Vacaria in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

The diocese was founded on September 8, 1934 initially as Territorialprälatur of Vacaria by Pope Pius XII. founded by the pontifical bull Dominici Gregis. On January 18 In 1957 by Pius XII. with the Bull Qui Vicaria potestate renaming the present diocese as suffragan of the Archdiocese of Vicaria Porto Alegre.
