Roman Catholic Diocese of Warangal

The Diocese of Warangal (Latin: Dioecesis Varangalensis ) is a located in India Roman Catholic diocese based in Warangal.

History

The Diocese of Warangal was posted on December 22, 1952 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Cum de Hyderabadensi of cessions of territory of the Diocese of Hyderabad. On 31 May 1976, the Diocese of Warangal were parts of its territory from the foundation of the diocese Nalgonda. A further transfer of territory took place on 18 January 1988 foundation of the diocese Khammam.

It is the Archdiocese of Hyderabad is a suffragan.

The diocese comprises the districts of Warangal Karimnagar and Warangal in Andhra Pradesh.
