Roman Catholic Diocese of Zhumadian

The Diocese of Zhumadian (Latin: Dioecesis Ciumatienensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Zhumadian in the People's Republic of China.

History

Pope Pius XI. founded with the Breve the Apostolic Prefecture Chumatien on March 2, 1933 annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate Nanyangfu. On 9 November 1944, she was elevated to the rank of Apostolic Vicariate.

With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised on April 11, 1946 Diocese.
