Roman Catholicism in Slovakia

The Roman Catholic Church in Slovakia is part of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church and is led by the Pope and the Slovak bishops. About 68 % of Slovaks are Roman Catholic church, it is the largest religious community in Slovakia. In addition, a Uniate with the Roman Catholic Church Greek Catholic Church in Slovakia exists with a population share of about 6 %. As a church national Slovakia Seven Sorrows of Mary be worshiped on September 15 ( Public Holiday).
