Romela Dadayan

Romela Nikolaji Dadajan (Armenian Ռոմելա Նիկոլայի Դադայան; born October 22, 1951 in Madras Rayon Şamaxı the Azerbaijan SSR ) is a politician of the party -free home in the de facto regime Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, which under international law is part of Azerbaijan.

Life and career

Dadajan studied at the remote department of the Faculty of Armenian language and literature at the Pedagogical University in the city of Stepanakert. From 1968 to 1973 Dadajan worked in the village of Madras in Shamakhi as the main pioneer leader. From 1973 to 1974 she worked as a teacher of Armenian language and literature in the secondary school in the village Tschajlughi in Martakert.1974 she transferred to the nursery N 4 in Stepanakert and in 1979 she was teacher in a general education boarding school.

Since 1979, she worked in the school N 1 in Stepanakert as organizer of extra-curricular work. There, she was deputy director in 1988. Since 1994 she has been director of the school.

On 19 June 2005 she was elected in elections to the National Assembly fourth of the unrecognized Republic of Nagorno Karabakh by ​​proportional representation through electoral list of the party " Free Homeland" as a deputy of the National Assembly of Artsakh. She was a member of the Standing Committee of the National Council for Social Issues. On 23 May 2010 she was elected by proportional representation as a candidate of the party electoral list " Free Homeland" as deputies in the elections to the fifth National Assembly. She is a member of the Standing Committee of Culture and Science and to youth and sports issues. In her party she held the office of secretary.

Dadajan is married and has three children.
