Ronny Rosenthal

Ronny Rosenthal ( born October 11, 1963 in Haifa ) is a former Israeli footballer.

The striker began his career at Maccabi Haifa, was then still far from today's top team away club, where he obtained the first professional game with 16 years, his first two goals. In 1980, Maccabi was promoted to the first division and in the 1983/84 season the team won the first championship.

After differences Rosenthal went to Club Brugge. In the two years there, the club won two titles. Then he moved to Standard Liege, where he achieved his international breakthrough. Later he moved to Liverpool. 1990 Rosenthal shot in his eight games for Liverpool 7 goals and was English champion.

Later he played less successful and in 1997 to the rise of Watford FC in the Premier League. Other clubs were Luton Town and Tottenham Hotspurs.

He played 60 international matches for Israel. In 1999, he finished with 36 years of his playing career.
