Rorschach Test (band)

Rorschach test was an American industrial metal band.

Band History

James Baker founded Rorschach test in 1992 in Denver. After he had moved to Seattle, toe Kerr came in 1992 as a keyboardist for the band added. Together with Benjamin Anderson on guitar, they began to write, among other lyrics until they released in 1996 their first album The Eleventh on an independent label. Followed in 1998 by Neil Kernon the - the producer of groups like Queen, David Bowie and Judas Priest - produced album Unclean. After several U.S. tours the album Peace Minus One was published in 2000. The group disbanded in 2001.

Style

The music of Rorschach test consists firstly of hard and fast metal sounds and rhythms and on the other from a mixture of industrial samples and electronic music. The lyrics are mostly allusions to religious and social stereotypes. Is comparable to their style with that of Ministry, Rammstein or Fear Factory.
