Rory Cochrane

Rory K. Cochrane ( born February 28, 1972 in Syracuse, in the State of New York ) is an American actor, songwriter and singer.

Life and career

Rory Cochrane was born on 28 February 1972 as the third child of an Indian mother, actress Nicki Cochrane and an Irish father in Syracuse. He spent his childhood in the English Grantchester. After his return to the U.S. he attended in New York City's LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts.

Even during his school years had his first television appearance in 1989 Cochrane in a docudrama about drugs abuse in the show Saturday Night with Connie Chung. As a result, he had a guest role in an episode of the U.S. series HELP and 1991, his first film role in the movie The kiss of death, but only approximately 15 seconds lasted.

Cochrane is found mainly in independent films and was in German-speaking only through his role as sarcastic and grumpy track expert Timothy "Speed" Speedle in the U.S. television series CSI: Miami known.
