Rosalind Ivan
Rosalind Ivan ( born November 27, 1880 in London, † April 6, 1959 in New York City, USA) was a British film and stage actress.
Life
Ivan played from 1944 to 1954 in 14 Hollywood films and had an unforgettable role as arrogant and cold-hearted wife of a bank employee in Fritz Lang's film noir Scarlet Street (1945 ). Because they had previously played a similar role in Robert Siodmak's film Under Suspicion a year her the nickname " Ivan the Terrible" was given in Hollywood.
