Rosana Simón

Her first international title fights denied Simón in 2005. In Baku it was European Junior Champion, also took part in Riga for the first time at the European Championships in Madrid and at the World Cup. The following year she finally won her first medal at senior level at the European Championship in Bonn with bronze.

Simón failed to qualify for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. However, in the weight category over 67 kg separated them against Karolina Kedzierska out in their opening fight. Successfully she was sure at the World Championships in Copenhagen in 2009 and the European Championships 2010 in St. Petersburg, where they won their respective first World Cup and European Championship title with final victories over Liu Rui and Anne -Caroline Graff. Other medals could Simón win bronze at the 2011 World Championships in Gyeongju and silver at the European Championships 2012 in Manchester.
