Rossiya Bank

The Bank Rossiya (Russian Банк Россия ) is a Russian bank.

The Rossiya Bank to have been a Bank of the Russian KGB and the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The early 1990s - after the collapse of the Soviet Union - the bank based in Saint Petersburg was from private investors to Vladimir Putin ( 2000 to 2008 and since 2012 President of Russia) acquired and developed.

The Rossiya Bank is one (2008? ) With total assets of 45 billion rubles ( 1.25 billion euros ) of the 50 largest banks in Russia. The share capital of 449.95 million rubles (note: in March 2014, about 50 rubles 1 Euro )

In the course of Krimkrise 2014, the U.S. government froze the U.S. assets of Rossiya Bank on 20 March 2014 ( Cabinet Obama). The Rossiya Bank is, according to U.S. government the number 17 of the largest banks in Russia. They have a capacity of around ten billion U.S. dollars and accounts with banking institutions in the U.S. and Europe.
