Rosslyn Wemyss, 1st Baron Wester Wemyss

Sir Rosslyn Erskine Wemyss, 1st Baron Wester Wemyss, GCB, CMG, MVO ( born April 12, 1864 in London, United Kingdom, † May 24, 1933 in Cannes, France) was a British Admiral of the Fleet ( Admiral of the Fleet ) and first Sea Lord ( first Sea Lord: 1917-1919 ) the British navy.

He signed the agreement for Armistice (1918 ) to the end of the First World War. Together with the French Marshal Ferdinand Foch, he led the delegation of the Allies after the defeat of the Central Powers.
