RotorWay International
RotorWay International is a kit helicopter manufacturer based at Stellar Airpark (FAA ID: P19 ) Chandler (Arizona ) in the U.S. state of Arizona in the United States.
History
The company was founded in 1961 under the name Rotorway Aircraft of Buford J.Schramm, 1990 renamed RotorWay International and acquired by an investor group in 2007.
Products
There are kit - helicopter developed that can be assembled by the purchaser. As a construction period be specified up to 1000 hours from 200 hours. From the helicopters fly so far in 2400 sold about half. The original price in 2010 was USD 100,000, - / EUR 69.000, -. All critical components such as engine, rotor head, transmission, drive train and rotor blades are manufactured in the factory of RotorWay itself.
