RotorWay A600 Talon

The RotorWay A600 Talon is a single-engine, two-seat kit helicopter of the U.S. manufacturer RotorWay International.

History

The first tests with the A600 took place in January 2007 and was presented to the public on 23 July 2007 at the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in Oshkosh ( Wisconsin). The helicopter is delivered as a kit, but can also be purchased as a finished product. The original price is around USD 150.000, - lie. The flight test flights occurred on 15 March 2011 to an incident involving a helicopter factory in which destroys the machine, but no one was injured.

Construction

The A600 has a two-blade main rotor blades with asymmetric, a two- bladed tail rotor with symmetrical airfoil and is driven by a piston engine. The water-cooled, four-cylinder boxer engine is available in two variants, as RotorWay RI 600N with 147 HP or a RI 600S ( Supercharged ) with 167 hp, is made in RotorWay itself and has a FADEC system. In the cockpit of an EFIS ( MGL Stratomaster Enigma ) is used instead of conventional analog displays. When a landing gear landing gear is used, and float are available.
