Rottum (river)

The Rottum is a river in the district of Biberach. It flows from south to north and part of the river system of the Danube.

Course

The Rottum is not a source river, but arises from the union of Bella Monter Rottum and Steinhauser Rottum in the city of Ochsenhausen. It then flows north. They happened Goppertshofen and flows through Reinstetten after Schönebürg. Between Schönebürg and Mietingen in Sagmuhle Eiberle is an unnamed supply from ponds of the former monastery Heggbach. Then it crosses Mietingen, Baustetten and Laupheim before about three kilometers north of the city combined with the Dürnach to Westernach.
