Westernach (Danube)

The Westernach is a 6.5 km long, right or southern tributary of the Danube river in Baden- Württemberg ( Germany ).

Course

The Westernach runs between the crack in the west and the red in the east. It arises north of Laupheim by the confluence of the coming from the south Dürnach and coming from the south- southeast Rottum.

From this "Bach Wedding " flows the Westernach few kilometers west past Achstetten north towards Erbach to far north-west to lead to the southern district Dellmensingen in the coming of the West Danube.

Infrastructure

West along the Westernach, where there are no towns to at Erbach- Dellmensingen, runs the Southern Railway ( railway line Ulm - Friedrichshafen) and close to the main road east 30
